The thing this game needs the most is fast CPU, then fast RAM (and a lot of it) and finally fast storage. I think it was right at that time where they brought some major shader changes and all of a sudden half of the players had to upgrade. It is alright/worthwhile, but nothing like the era, style, mechanics, etc, transportation management., that I miss. Got desperate for anything, I'll picked up Caesar 4 last year. For optimal performance when configuring drives as a RAID volume, Dell recommends drive models that are identical. It is not available with Optane memory (Available from August 2019). RAID 0 and 1 are not supported with M.2 PCIe SSD and 2.5' SSD/HDD due to different interface types. Do i have to un-whitelist the BIOS to be able to make it work. I want to remove that and replace it with a Dual-Band Wireless card to connect to my school network. Trying to scroll across the map was almost impossible.Įverything else I have ran the same as before, so it was specific to Cities:S, and haven't had a fun city builder to play. NOTE: Supports RAID 0 and 1 with M.2 SATA SSD and 2.5' SSD/HDD. I have the Inspiwith Dell Wireless 1705 card in it. Happens 2-3 times every minute where extreme slowdown, stutter/slideshow, for 10+ seconds.
I have a much older system that ran it "okay", playable but bad frame drops in certain situations.īut somewhere around mid-2019, there was some update to the game and it became unplayable.
What is the mod btw? Might be useful in the future.
built before mid 2014 the chance to upgrade to a wifi card which supports 5.0GHz networks is very slim to none due to the whitelist in BIOS.
